Robert Parker's Wine Advocate : The 2014 Arômes de Pavie, the second label of Pavie, offers uncomplicated brambly red berry fruit on the nose infused by a faint touch of balsamic. The palate is medium-bodied, but the tannins feel brutish on the entry and these tend to dry out the finish that is dominated by wood tannin. I would have liked more fruit to come through and maintain balance, but it attenuates surprisingly quickly. Drink Date 2017-2019.
Blend : 70% de Merlot, 20% de Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
