Tenuta dell’Ornellaia is located in Bolgheri; one of the world’s finest wine regions. An picturesque avenue lined by cypress trees leads inland from the old Roman coastal road up to the walls of Bolgheri’s medieval hamlet. From the village the view extends out to sea and on a clear day you can see the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago.

Tenuta dell’Ornellaia is owned by the Frescobaldi family, alongside other prestigious estates including the six FRESCOBALDI Estates, Nipozzano, CastelGiocondo, Pomino, Ammiraglia, Castiglioni and Remole.

Axel Heinz is the estate’s current winemaker, working alongside the esteemed oenologist Michel Rolland.
