Robert Parker's Wine Advocate : The 2014 Lynch Moussas was actually more expressive than the 2014 Batailley on the nose with lifted redcurrant, cranberry and wild strawberry scents mingling with sous-bois and tobacco. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and a keen line of acidity, well balanced with attractive smoke and tobacco notes complementing the red berry fruit on the finish. This has good potential, a Pauillac that is likely to be underappreciated by the market, yet to register the improvement at the Castÿja family's estate.
