Robert Parker's Wine Advocate : Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, the 2017 La Fleur de Gay opens with scents of tar, rubber and new leather, giving way to a core of baked black and red plums, blackberry compote and licorice.
Medium-bodied, the palate has plenty of energetic back fruit with ripe, rounded tannins and lovely freshness, finishing earthy.
