Robert Parker's Wine Advocate : This is one of the fattest, richest Beau-Sejour-Becots I have ever tasted. The wine possesses a dark ruby/purple color, as well as copious quantities of vanillin-tinged pain grillee notes, medium to full body, low acidity, and moderate tannin. It cuts a fleshy, powerful feel on the palate, but it does not taste over the top. Anticipated maturity: 2000-2010. Last tasted 1997.
