The Pessac-Léognan appellation is one of the oldest in the Bordeaux region, and probably the first place where vines were planted in the region.
Pessac-Léognan’s terroir is exceptional; with rounded mildly high topography, allowing for drainage, proximity to the Garonne River permitting small streams of water to naturally irrigate the vines, and a presence of stones and rocks reflecting solar brightness accelerating the ripening process.
True to its terroir, this micro cuvée is bold and robust composed of a majority of Merlot, blended with Cabernet Sauvignon. On the nose, you’ll get a basket of fresh red berries followed by hints of toffee. Silky and smooth, with pure fruit and spices, you’ll be left with a lasting velvety mouthfeel.
